Carnival time in Australasia Carnival Cruises are set to build on their popularity in Australasia by adding another cruise ship to the region. Carnival Legend will join Carnival Spirit in September 2014 and will sail from Sydney for a number of 8-12-night cruises to New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji.

Royal Caribbean International’s latest amazing cruise ship has been described by RCI as having many new “firsts at sea” – and looks set to be the new template for future cruise liners in the market.
Luxury small-ship cruise company Silversea is increasing its overnight stays in major destinations allowing guests to explore further afield. Silversea’s president for Europe & Asia Pacific Steve Odell told Cruise Weekly the overnight stays gave their guests the benefit of longer and more varied excursions.
Two Celebrity Cruise ships are going to be cruising around the Australasian region in 2014/15, including a 17-night cruise from Auckland to Perth. Celebrity Century and Celebrity Solstice will offer a total of 27 cruises in summer 2014/15 ranging from three to 23 nights and offering departures from Sydney, Freemantle and Auckland.

P & O expands down-under Popular P&O Cruises is expanding its operations down-under to meet huge demand from its Australasian regional customer base. Cruise departures are set to go from every mainland state in Australia with an eight cruise-itinerary for Pacific Jewel (based in Fremantle) and round-trip cruises from Adelaide.
There is more choice than ever before with Princess Cruises as bookings are set to open for their 2014 Mediterranean and Northern Europe season. Five Princess ships will be offering cruises to more than 120 destinations with 48 itineraries.
