Ahoy Fellow Travellers, this weeks edition of Catch up on Cruising is packed full of the latest cruise news!!

Cunard returns to Alaska for 2019

For the first time since 1997 a Cunard Queen will be sailing in Alaskan waters in 2019. Queen Elizabeth will leave Tokyo in May heading to Vancouver and she will sail a short season of 4 Alaska return voyages in May & June 2019, starting and finishing in Vancouver and stopping in a fantastic selection of Alaskan ports. You will be able to add pre & post cruise excursions, hotel stays or land tours, such as the spectacular Rocky Mountaineer. Fares go on sale on November 1st and cabins will go fast so if you have been thinking about a cruise to Alaska why not think about a Cunard Queen in 2019.

Norwegian Jewel

Bookings have opened for the 2018/2019 Australia/NZ season, which will be the Jewel’s second season in local waters. She will be fresh from a multi-million dollar upgrade as part of the ‘Norwegian Edge’ revitalisation program. The 2018/2019 season will include a 19-day trans-Pacific voyage from Vancouver to Tokyo via Russia; a 19-day cruise to Australia from Singapore via Bali; and a new 13-day South Pacific Itinerary.
